Quite sufficient help for readers and also for editors can be found at MediaWiki User's Guide.
Guidlines
There are several guidlines for pages and page editing in order to keep the wiki styled. Also use templates, where templates are to be used.
TODO List
In order to keep unfinished things straight, use the {{todo}} template where appropriate. Describe through the template, what is to be done, why, or even how. Adding such template to a page will automatically add that page to the TODO category.
