While the next stable version of TED Notepad is not "officially" released yet, because we are still working on the documentation and a few other bits and pieces, you can already download a pre-release. It has been thoroughly tested, and it is stable and ready to use. Feel free to download the packages, just bear in mind you are an early bird 😁

Windows, Unicode is the most common version, suitable for Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows XP, etc.
Windows, ANSI version consumes half the memory, which is great especially when editing really huge files. However, it can only work with your local regional characters. In a way, it will feel like being stuck with the Windows 98 again. Don't worry though, this version will warn you when opening files with an occasional Unicode character, to avoid damaging them.
32-bit version is provided mainly for backwards compatibility with legacy 32-bit systems.
If you are unsure, always stick to the 64-bit Unicode version.
Older versions are still available and supported for those, who would like their notepad a bit smaller and simpler. Or those, who are not ready to upgrade just yet. These versions, however, may contain some unresolved issues.
Legacy versions are still available and supported for those, who would like their notepad small and simple. These versions, however, may contain some unresolved issues. Only fatal bugs are being fixed in these legacy versions.
