This menu is designed to remember chosen documents, so they could be easily accessed at any time.
To open a favourited file, click on its file name in this menu. TED Notepad may ask, whether to save any current document before opening a new one.
Note: If this feature is never used, it does not cost any extra resources.

Relative paths in the favourites and portable usage
A useful example for portable usage is to manually edit all your favourites after adding them and delete the drive at the beginning of the path. If the path starts with a simple back-slash (\) and the application is used portably from a USB drive, the favourite file will be looked for on the very same drive. This can be used to twist the USB drive around, while moving TED Notepad on the USB drive from one computer to another.
Note: One of the requirements for this to work, is to use correct working directory upon launching TED Notepad from the USB drive. In most typical cases, the system uses the USB drive as the working directory (as expected). However, some file managers and portable launchers may need to be told what working directory to use explicitly. Set them to use the USB drive.
Add this File
Adds currently opened file name and its path to the Favourites menu.

Tip: Use two dashes (i.e. --) as a menu separator. One dash (i.e. -) also works as a separator.
